The outing begins with a guided tour of the hamlet and its history, and observations of the architecture. The tour continues by taking a step back outside the hamlet, to understand the relationship between man and his environment. Practical workshops punctuate the visit to deepen observation and analysis of architecture and layout. Last but not least, there will be a discussion of sustainable development, to understand which planning choices can help preserve the environment.
The outing can take place in any of the hamlets specified in the educational fact sheet. However, a reflection on the daily environment around the school should be encouraged, to enable students to develop a critical eye for their living environment.
