Far from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts that surround it, Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise has all the makings of a great resort: traditional Savoyard architecture, preserved natural surroundings, naturally designed slopes, nearby off-piste skiing, forests and various terrains, and a breathtaking view over the Haute-Tarentaise valley.
Its charm and authenticity seduce its visitors as it has its inhabitants.
Nestled at an altitude of 1550 m, Sainte-Foy is ideally placed and benefits from exceptional snow cover, and its lower part is sheltered from the wind. This microclimate is notably generated by the return of the East wind, this air mass arriving from the Italian Alps and creating important snowfalls. Its North/West exposure and its snowmaking equipment guarantee a regular and good quality snowfall. The Sainte Foy ski area has a total of 100 poles. Below 2100 m, 100% of the slopes are equipped!
Sainte-Foy is renowned for its off-piste skiing. For your safety and that of others, never leave without being accompanied by a professional. High mountain guides, ski schools and qualified independent instructors are available to help you discover the great classic itineraries for which they will know how to find the still virgin combe.
Sainte-Foy has 25 slopes including 3 "Natur' ski" areas, marked out, secure and ungroomed. Children are welcome on the snow garden and the free carpets on the snow front.
