A woman, in local costume, is mourning a relative lost in the war below the church of Val Cenis Termignon. This work by Luc Jaggi-Couvert, a Swiss sculptor from Val-Cenis Termignon, was one of the first monuments to the pacifist dead, even though most people exalt patriotic virtues.

This WWI unique memorial, represents a lady in local dress crying for a relative dead at war. Luc Jaggi-Couvert, originally from Termignon, created this masterpiece.
