The foothpath sets off from the Avoriaz Plateau with quite a step climb (70m uphill) up onto the Avoriaz ridge.
1-Then you should take the following chairlifts : the Lindarets chairlift to go down, the Chaux Fleurie one to go up and the Rochassons one to go down. You can spend some time in the Plaine Dranse Village before taking down the last chairlift : Pierre Longue to Reach "Pré La Joux".
2-Take the free bus A (Linga - Pré La Joux) to reach Châtel. Pay attention to the bus schedule. It works every 40 min between 9.20AM and 5PM (the bus trip takes 20min between Pré La Joux and Châtel Church).
3-Come back to Avoriaz using the same bus and chairlifts. Careful with chairlifts closing times and to the thunderstoms risks.
