A trail suitable only for experienced walkers. It runs goes around Mount Vuache via the six villages of Vulbens, Chevrier, Clarafond-Arcine, Chaumont, Savigny and Dingy-en-Vuache. The very marked difference between the cool, wooded north-eastern slopes and the warm, sheer south-western side ensures remarkably diverse flora and fauna. Breathtaking views of the peaks of the Jura mountains, the Geneva plain and the Salève range. Wear hiking boots and suitable clothing in wet weather.
A free leaflet is available on request from the Syndicat intercommunal d’Aménagement du Vuache (SIAV).
Documentation available from Town Halls, Tourist Offices and local shops: detailed 1:25,000 map of footpaths in the Vuache area (4 €) and the FFRP trail guide (Pays du Salève et du Vuache... à pied" (13.30 €)
