Departure from the hamlet of Les Cottets
1/ Take the road that climbs to the left towards the Haut Thex mountain pasture.
2/ After a 15-minute walk, turn right onto the forest track. The path leads to the mountain pasture, near a pond.
3/ From the pond, take the track down to the right, crossing the mountain pasture.
4/ At the bottom of the mountain pasture, take the forest track on the right to reach the hamlet of Les Cottets.
Reception
- Choose your route according to your physical condition and the weather conditions.
- Follow the instructions for signposting.
- Don't set off too late in the afternoon, to make sure you're back before dark.
- Take sufficient food and water with you. Mountain sports require a lot of energy.
Dogs must be kept on a leash due to the presence of herds

Departure from the hamlet of Les Cottets
> Access by car from Thonon or Cluses on the D902 then D332 to Le Biot, free parking in front of the town hall. A hundred meters on foot to the hamlet of Les Cottets.
> access by shuttle bus: Balad'Aulps Bus (valley shuttle) stops in front of the village hall, then walk 100 m to the hamlet of Les Cottets.
