Departing from Valmorel, after crossing an alpine ski slope, a long pleasant forest section leads you to the Plan Chevron plateau. From there you branch off and climb above the Empyrean via a short section but steep enough to reach the high point of the course.
The return will then take you to the Aigle Blanc, passing near the Ormay chalets. With a little luck, you will come across a musher and his dogs for a walk. This route is the family itinerary par excellence of Valmorel and can be considered for half a day.
