This walk is perfect for enjoying the beautiful views from the Col du Mollard.
Option:
If you wish, you can climb to the Croix du Châtel at the top of the Col du Mollard.
Allow an extra 45 minutes on your walking time.
At Plan de la Croix, take the path leading up to the Croix du Châtel. From the Croix, head back down towards Sous la Croix du Châtel. From this crossroads, take the road back to Col du Mollard.
Please note that the Tour du Châtel is not passable in winter due to the risk of falling trees.

Châtel Tower
Enjoy a short stroll around Le Châtel. You'll appreciate the shady sections during the short passage through the forest, as well as the magnificent view of the Aiguilles d'Arves as you leave it.

0/ Start at Col du Mollard, next to the riding school.
1/ Head for the Rival forest.
2/ Follow this path around the Châtel to emerge from the forest facing the Aiguilles d'Arves.
3/ Reach the Hameau des Aiguilles residence.
4/ Turn left onto the main road to reach the Col du Mollard.
