The remarkable little altar
of 1679, which decorates the chevet, realized by Claude François Gradel,
testifies to the baroque influence of the time.
The architecture is characteristic: a two-sided roof with a strong hipped
bell tower with pillars and small dome, rectangular plan,
flat chevet. Other chapels in Magland are in the same style
The bell was cast in 1826 in Paris and financed by the inhabitants of the hamlet
of the hamlet who had emigrated to the French capital.

The chapel of Oex, the oldest chapel of the commune, is dedicated to
dedicated to Saint-Bernard-de-Menthon. It is a rural chapel
built in 1680 and enlarged in 1842.
