Program 2024 :
-Mountain Airs exhibition and photo competition:
Photo competition on "Mountain Airs". Your images will be exhibited during the Festival. Jury of local professional photographers H.Chiapusso, JJ Agustin, JL Viart, E.Joyeux, C.Pillot will award 3 prizes and the public prize during the projection-meeting evening on July 25. Contest from June 15 to July 20, 2024.
Art exhibition on everything that flies, every evening of the Festival. Photos, kites customized in our creative workshops, book sales... At the Aussois school hall. Free admission from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
Atalier kite-making and customization. Kite-making workshop with a local artist for the Festival exhibition and to light up the Aussois sky. July 23 and 24, 9am to 11:30am at the Aussois School. On-site registration 5€.

Tuesday July 23, 2024 :
Amicale de parapaente : Demonstrations and tandem flights.
Try a tandem paragliding flight during the Festival. A feeling of freedom, spectacular views over Aussois and its peaks and dams, with professional pilots. An unforgettable experience. From 9 a.m. to noon, €50 per flight (weather permitting). With Association Vol Libre Vanoise
Screening-meeting "Des gypaètes et des hommes". Documentary on the lammergeier, in the unusual setting of Fort Victor-Emmanuel. Discussions with a member of the Vanoise National Park staff. A journey through the skies with the mythical bird of the Alps, which you can admire in Aussois. At 10.30 a.m. in the corridor of the lower batteries of Fort Victor-Emmanuel, with free access.
BÉE" NARANJAZU show
A fil-de-fériste asks herself questions. The musician is there, tuning the links between you and us, the right tension of wire, guitar and show. A duo that breathes playfulness and hope into the infinite forward motion of life. Théâtre Cirque Contemporain en pleine nature from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the belvedere above Fort Charles Albert, free admission.
Rêves d'Icare" conference projection with Gérard Guerrier The first illustrated history of non-motorized flight, with portraits of the adventurers of the skies and the inventions that revolutionized aeronautics. Meeting with Gérard Guerrier: diving engineer, company director, mountain guide, delta wing pilot, journalist and travel writer... 8:30pm, at the Paul Langevin CNRS CAES vacation center, free admission. With the Université Populaire de Haute Maurienne.

Wednesday, July 24, 2024 :
Rando famille " Airs de montagne ".
Full-day hike to discover the Sculpture Trail, the Arponts plateau, the Monolithe... Supervised by a guide and a Vanoise National Park warden. Bring a picnic and hiking gear. Bookings at the Aussois Tourist Office. Free hike from 9am to 4pm.
Instant Beaufort - Climb to altitude: Take the chairlift up to an altitude of 2,200m in the heart of the Aussois ski area, to meet a farming family and their cows on the Jeu mountain pasture. Their milk is harvested by the Coopérative Laitière de Haute Maurienne Vanoise for the production of Beaufort Eté. Join us at 10:30 am at the alpage above the Grand Jeu chairlift. Milking at 6pm.
ONERA-Office national d'études et de recherches aérospatiales conference
With Mme Hisquin, Director of ONERA near Aussois, and Mme Anne Gilliot, Doctor-engineer in aeronautics. A centre of technological excellence unrivalled anywhere else in the world, specializing in the aerodynamic behaviour of various aeronautical and aerospace machines. At 5pm, at the CNRS Paul Langevin vacation center, free admission.
Barocoeurs" concert:
Classical music concert at Aussois church: trumpet and organ. Nathalie Buchot on organ, Franck Dompnier, Gabriel Jehan, and Pierre-Marie Charvoz on trumpet. Baroque works. At 8.30pm, free admission.

Thursday, July 25, 2024 :
Hike to 3,000m: the "Rateau d'Aussois": Vertiginous day hike to the summit of the mythical Rateau d'Aussois at 3128m. Supervised by a guide and a Vanoise National Park warden. Bring picnic and hiking gear. Difficult hike, 1,100m ascent. Hikes from 7am to 5:30pm. Bookings at the Aussois Tourist Office, free of charge.
Bouldering in the air:
Discover the gestures and movements of climbing with Claire, a state-certified instructor. Bouldering courses at the Croé crag, from 9 a.m. to noon. Beginners and above, free. Bookings at the Aussois Tourist Office. The Rocher du Croé, an emblematic site where international competitions were held in the 90s. Open to all. In case of bad weather, retreat to the indoor climbing area.
Discovering the large birds of prey in the Alps:
Come and observe vultures, lammergeiers, eagles...
Join a guide from the Parc National de la Vanoise at the top of the Grand Jeu chairlift at 2238 m altitude from 10 am to 4 pm. We can see these great birds fly and share moments of their life in our mountains.
Show "T'es rien sans la terre" (You're nothing without the earth) Coup de coeur!
An encounter between poetry and contemporary circus, an artistic fusion where dance, acrobatics and live music come together in a captivating show on the crucial theme of the environment. At 5.30pm at the Buidonnière leisure park, free admission.
Evening meeting and screening with Antoine Boisselier, paragliding adventurer.
Meet Antoine Boisselier, paragliding adventurer, and discover his film "J'irai atterrir chez vous! #3 La traversée des Pyrénées". On the occasion of the Aussois Base Camp "Airs de Montagne" Festival. Renowned free-flight pilot and committed film-maker. His main means of locomotion is his paraglider, which enables him to fly over magnificent landscapes! At 8.30pm, at the CCAS vacation center, free admission.

Friday, July 26, 2024:

Les Fabulleux" strolling show
Two funny characters will enchant the streets of Aussois with their fantastic bubbles. From foam to giant bubbles, come and meet them and share in their caustic humor! From 5pm to 7pm in the heart of the village.
Sweet Potatoes" strolling concert
100% all-female Aussoy brass band playing international hits. Concerts in 4 locations in the heart of the village of Aussois. A joyful, dynamic atmosphere for the Festival's closing evening. From 5pm to 7pm.
Acord'Oé" aperitif concert
A group of musicians from Aussois, including accordionists of all ages. Air-themed tunes. Enjoy a convivial aperitif-dance for the closing evening of the Festival.
Base Camp Festival Closing Concert "SPELIM
Feel-good vocal music spiced up with the colorful energy of musicians and a graffiti artist. A sound that promises an explosive cocktail. Festive evening in the village square, with food and refreshments.
Spelim has a single objective: to sharpen smiles and get hips moving!
Prepared between London and Paris, Spelim's first album will be released in the form of two EPs. Spelim is determined to defend his new album, and to offer a show as close as possible to the audience. Usually alone on stage, he invites us to a quartet version of his generous, smiling universe. The brass section that accompanies him on this adventure reinforces the warmth and power already present in SPELIM's set. The show takes on a new energy, both visually and musically. They are joined by street artist, visual artist and graffiti artist "Rino", who not only plays an integral part in the musical show, but also adds a pictorial facet. The idea is to create a visual trace (yellow, of course) of the show and to broaden audience interaction. SPELIM's musical feel-good, spiced up with the smiles and colorful energy of the three people who accompany it, promises an explosive cocktail, which we'll see arriving in the village square of Aussois from afar.
