Panoramic view of this superb summit located in the commune of Cordon, culminating at 2,236 meters, and its famous bench for a well-deserved stopover.
The chalet du Petit Pâtre, as its name suggests, is both a shelter for the shepherd and for passing hikers.

    Different routes to Croise Baulet

    Departure from Cordon, Refuge parking lot at around 1300m, at the end of the road on the heights of Cordon;
    The hike begins on a dirt track leading straight up to Le Chanté - then crosses over to Les Lancherus on a little side path leading to the Seythets mountain pastures and then to Le Petit Pâtre ;
    From Le Petit Pâtre (you enter the park in summer) you cross under Croise Baulet towards the south and over the Col de l'Avenaz, to reach the summit and the famous bench.
