We are at the beginning of the 1970s. The members of a family from a village-resort, somewhere in the mountains of Savoie, must gather one year after the death of the father. But grief and memories are too present. Then arrives a representative from a large investment and real estate promotion company. The "Promoter", or rather the promoter, plans to develop, build, promote, a new resort on the family's land.
Lively discussions. A chance for the municipality but what future for agriculture, and the wonderful landscapes?...
Opportunity to discuss the economic transformations of the Tarentaise, individuals and communities having had and having to solve problems that still arise today.

What do the 3 bags that old Kalifara gave to his sons before his death represent? In this tale, humor and philosophy tell us about the ancestral values of Africa.

Milor, Monmon, and Mimine decide to take over their late grandmother Moumoune's "barocktail" business. It is with the utmost respect for family traditions that they will introduce you to their virtuous machine: the "melody dispenser"! Their business? Diagnosing and solving your problems with custom-dosed cocktails. Rejection from a loved one? Lack of self-confidence? Come to the grand opening of the Facteurs de Buvette which will transform your lives ... for only 4.99!

Thursday, August 1st: Mine Palace 6 pm: "LOUP Y ES-TU?" by storyteller Sylvie Barnay - family show

The wolf, as a storyteller, is encountered at every turn in the woods, in stories, tales, but also in conversations. The subject, when it touches on current events, is burning, lively, passionate, it's crazy the reactions the wolf can trigger! So, to understand why this animal generates so much reaction, where does this ancestral fear or idealization of the animal come from, don't miss Sylvie Barnay's "lecture performance".

Friday, August 2nd: Vallandry Cinema 8:30 pm: Catherine DARGENT pays tribute to BREL and BECAUD

From the first minutes of the show, we are plunged back into the mythical place where Brel and Bécaud set the stage on fire: the Olympia! One bid farewell there, the other left spectacular traces that earned him the nickname "Mr. 100,000 volts".

Two unforgettable interpreters are these two incredible singers: Brel and Bécaud. The one who went as far as the ultimate interpretation and who extinguished far too soon, and the one who represented energy and fervor. A sung and narrated stroll, played by two instruments: the piano and the Hammond organ...
Not to be missed, a challenge for a female voice to take up these repertoires that have deeply marked our memory ... and are anchored in our musical heritage.
