Glacier ascent - La Cime Monfret 3.374m

A summit in the Alpes Grées, this is a great introduction to mountaineering in the superb setting of the Glacier du Grand Mean, which you'll climb after spending the night at the Evettes Refuge.
From the summit, views over the Piedmont valley, Arêtes du Mulinet, Pointe Francesetti, Albaron, Mont Séti, etc.
Ascent: 800m from the Evettes refuge, between 3h and 3h30.
Access to the Evettes refuge, 2594m, from the Ecot parking lot (Bonneval-sur-Arc), 1H45.

Date of ascent: August 8, from the Evettes refuge, reached the day before on your own, where Yannik will join you for dinner. This date is subject to change by 1 or 2 days to take account of weather conditions. Yannik Anselmet, Mountain Guide, will welcome you and give you all the information you need on Sunday August 4 during the meeting at the "Alpin Center Bonneval" office.

The minimum number of participants is 4, otherwise the climb will be cancelled. The maximum number of participants is 6.

Climbing equipment :
- We provide a harness and helmet.
- Shoes and crampons can be hired from Sports 2000 in Bessans.

The guide's fee is €60 per participant.
The cost of the stay at the refuge is around €47 per person, including evening meal, night in the refuge and breakfast. You pay directly at the refuge, so don't forget your checkbook or cash. Drinks are extra.

The evening meal will be taken with the guide, who will give you all the information and advice you need for the following day.
