Group snowshoe hike with the Annecy-Aravis Mountain Office

During the winter season, discover the Aravis Massif thanks to snowshoe hikes led by an experienced guide who knows the area.

From December to April, half-day (2 hours in the morning, 2:30 hours in the afternoon).
All levels: from beginner to advanced.
- Beginner: initiation, easy discovery outing, elevation gain of approximately 100 m;
- Intermediate (*): discovery walk off the marked trails, 100 to 200 m of elevation gain, for average walkers;
- Confirmed (**): more sporty half-day hike, to go further in discovery and fun, more than 200 m of elevation gain.

Standard program for winter 2023/2024 (for information only):
- Monday 1:25 p.m.: Discovery of snowshoeing with a walk on the Plateau des Confins. (Initiation)
- Tuesday 9:15 a.m.: Walk to the Col des Aravis to observe the chamois and admire the Mont Blanc Massif. (*)
- Tuesday 1:25 p.m.: Walk in the mountain pastures starting from the Col de la Croix Fry above the Manigod valley. (*)
- Wednesday 9:15 a.m.: Walk in the Bargy Massif towards the old village of Chinaillon. (*)
- Wednesday 1:25 p.m.: Walk on the Plateau des Follières starting from Col de la Croix Fry. (*)
- Thursday 9:15 a.m.: More sporty hike to Col des Aravis with a panoramic ridge route facing the Mont Blanc Massif. (**)
- Thursday 1:25 p.m.: New walk on the Plateau des Follières. (*)
- Friday 9:15 a.m.: Walk above the Plateau des Confins between La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. (**)
