Carmin y nada mas - Festive improv cabaret - Festival de Tango de Val Cenis 2024

A show tailor-made for the Val Cenis Tango Festival.
Come and discover the world of Argentine tango through alternating scenes of dance, live music and improvisation! The evening's performers will take you on a journey through the world of tango, from its birth to the present day, while invoking the great spirits who made it and keep it alive today.

Duo Souvenir :
The tango duo Souvenir is formed by Sofia Aristarain (vocals) and Javier Lew (guitar). Their repertoire consists of their own arrangements of tango classics.
Sofia and Javier live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where they are developing an intense musical career. Sofía was a member of the "La Pícara" orchestra and recently released a tribute album to the music of composer Tape Rubin.
Javier is a versatile guitarist, with a tango guitar duo and trio in Buenos Aires, as well as participating in several jazz projects.
Both are graduates of the "Diplomatura Tango" at the Universidad de las Artes (UNA). This is their fifth European tour.

Compagnie Impacte: Compagnie Imp'Acte is an artistic company specializing in theater, forum theater, theatrical improvisation, and interventions in companies, associations, local authorities, etc. It brings together a group of professional artists: actors, directors and technicians.
