Individual challenge, accessible to all
A positive altitude difference of 3400m for a total course of 69km. The route takes runners from the village of Aime in the valley to the summit of the Bellecôte Glacier at 3047m, passing through the high-altitude resorts of Grande Plagne before descending through the forest at Montchavin les Côches and finishing along the Isère river. A high-flying, signposted route, 95% on paths and tracks.

6000D atmosphere
For this 33rd year, a large and enthusiastic public will be cheering you on all along the 6000D course, on SATURDAY JULY 29, 2023 for the 6000D, the 6000D 3-man relay (new) and Friday July 28, 2023 for the 6D Lacs.
Access to the Roche de Mio / Col de la Chiaupe / Live 3000 gondola will be open this summer to encourage runners at a preferential rate.

To keep as close as possible to the spirit of the Trail, there are only 5 refreshment points (food and drink) and 3 water points (drinks only) on the 69 km route. A camel bag or water bottle holder is highly recommended.
Self-sufficiency is recommended.

- Start at 5:00 a.m., finish around 6:30 p.m.
- No more time limits at the finish. Last time barrier at Montchavin at 4:30 p.m.
- 4 time barriers Plagne Centre at 10:00 am, Chiaupe return at 1:15 pm, Plagne Bellecôte at 3:00 pm and Montchavin at 4:30 pm.
- Limited to 2000 runners
- Prices: from 70€ to 84€ depending on date
- Online registration deadline: Sunday, July 21, 2024
- Medical certificate or license required upon registration
- The age limit to run the 6000D is 20 years in the year (in the year 2004).
- Compulsory equipment to be checked at the start and during the race: cell phone, reusable cup or flask, zipped bag for food at refreshment points, crampons (to be worn over your shoes), headlamp, whistle, 500ml water, survival blanket, long-sleeved waterproof and breathable jacket (be careful, it can get very cold at altitude) and your 4 safety pins or other hooks for your number.
- Highly recommended: cell phone, gloves, glasses, cap or other, water and food.
- Bib numbers will be distributed in Aime (salle des fêtes) on Thursday, July 25 from 2pm to 7pm and Friday, July 26 from 10am to 7pm, and on Saturday race morning from 3:30am. Please note that an identity card is required to collect your race number.
- A cloakroom will be available 50m from the start in the Cerrutti hall in Aime.
