3pm-4pm: inauguration of PEPS and tribute to Frédéric Gentet
4pm-5pm: organ concert at Saint-Michel church by Grégoire Rolland, original creation by Orgue & Montagnes (admission fee required) 8.30pm-10pm: conference at Chamonix temple: Joseph-Marie Couttet, Capitaine du Mont-Blanc, un guide voyageur dans une Europe entre guerre et paix, by Claude Marin, Jean-Franck Charlet and Christian De Marliave.

Fête des Guides à Chamonix

Created in 1924 to generate financial support for the Chamonix guides’ relief fund, the “Fête des Guides” has become one of the major yearly events of the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley.
