This year, pupils in Year 5 at Assomption Mont-Blanc have produced lapbooks on the theme of the Middle Ages. These creations were born out of a study of this period in history lessons, as well as a reading of a work by Chrétien de Troyes, Yvain ou le chevalier au lion (Yvain or the Lion Knight). During the emergence phase of this project, the pupils were also able to meet with a specialist in the medieval period to create their own shield and learn about heraldry.
They will be exhibiting their work in the library from 27 June to 29 August 2024.
