Guided tour of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise dairy cooperative

You will benefit from Déborah's comments and her summer bonus workshop.

The Cooperative brings together 40 farms from Aussois to Bonneval sur Arc and transforms this milk all year round into Beaufort AOP, cheese of excellence, in the Val Cenis Lanslebourg workshop, and part of the year in Bleu de Bonneval sur Arc (workshop not accessible to the public).

Details of the workshops offered:

Monday: "Hands on"
Demo and participatory manufacturing. Put on the cheese apron and take part in a workshop allowing you and your children to handle milk, rennet and discover the stages of milk transformation, from liquid to solid!

Tuesday "The game of flavors"
On your taste buds, get set, go! The coop offers you a tasting full of flavors and invites you to discover with which beers / spices / honey / jams / fruit juices our cheeses go best! Explosion of flavors guaranteed.
Trio of cheese - Beaufort 6 months, Beaufort summer 12 months and Bleu de Bonneval sur Arc

Wednesday and Thursday: "Come have fun at the Coop and test your knowledge".
The Coop offers you to learn more while having fun! A fun workshop on the making of Beaufort cheese and the cheese-making process (sequential images, sentence exercises, quizzes, riddles, memory, etc.). And if you like to draw, don't hesitate because "drawing is winning".

Friday "Tell me the wonderful story of whey" : Did you know that the "whey", at the coop, is 100% recycled, valorized and transformed into several products; and even into electricity ! Beaufort, a responsible industry.
