Antoine Cordoba is a bell-ringer at the church of Taninges in Haute-Savoie and the abbey of Saint-Maurice in Valais, home to the largest carillon in Switzerland. He is also the administrator of a website devoted to the bells of Savoie (http://cloches74.com). Having had a passion for the art of bell-ringing since childhood, he is a true expert when it comes to the history of bells in the parish of Megève. Here he gives a particularly detailed account of the troubled past of the carillon of Saint-Jean-Baptiste church.
