The Moulins et Patrimoine association invites you to discover the site of the Chappe optical telegraph of the Plan de l'Ours.
Originally built in 1806, at the request of Napoleon I, it operated until 1814. Completely rehabilitated in 2010, this post was part of the telegraph line that linked Paris to Venice. Its mechanism allows the display of 92 different signals which, associated with a specific vocabulary, allow the sending of confidential messages.
