At over 2000 meters altitude, the "Maison des Bergers" (Shepherd's House) aptly bears its name. Located at the Italian border, at the foot of Col de la Traversette, the Fraissard family welcomes you to their mountain pasture where their herds contribute to maintaining ski slopes through grazing. Year-round, they deliver their milk to the Dairy Cooperative of Haute-Tarentaise.
Access (by car): From Bourg-St-Maurice, head towards the La Rosière resort. At the entrance to the resort, at the first roundabout, turn right to reach the Les Eucherts area. Park near Place des Eucherts.
Hiking: Follow the "Instants Beaufort" signs.

10:30 AM: Join us for a presentation on the communal life in mountain pastures in the past, led by a heritage guide, and engage with our producers of today. The event concludes with a tasting of Beaufort cheese. Bring your own picnic and enjoy the afternoon exploring the mountain pasture at your leisure.
