Above the hamlet of Novallay, the path winds through a pretty valley and leads to the Gollet pass (1971m).
From the pass, the ascent to the summit of Crève Tête is done by a small path North / East through the rocks but without any particular difficulty.
Practical information :
Departure altitude : 1350m (le Novallay)
Altitude of the Head Break: 2342 m
Cumulative vertical drop: 1000 m
Duration: 4 to 5 hours of walking
Marking: A few signs and trails clearly visible.
Precautions : No technical difficulties on this hike, some steep passages under the summit.
