This trapper's trail, ideal for families, takes you along the banks of the Dranse, alternating between undergrowth and meadows. You'll love the Far North atmosphere as you make your way from the village of Albertans to the superb Ardent waterfall.

The trail is only sunny from mid-February onwards
1/ Leave from the car park at the entrance to the hamlet of Albertans
2/ Cross the bridge and continue straight on until you reach the start of the path
3/ Take the path on the left
4/ Stay on the path as far as the Ardent waterfall
Reception
- All routes are taken at the hiker's own risk, as they are not supervised.
- Choose your route according to your physical condition and the weather conditions.
- Check the weather forecast (posted daily in the Tourist Offices or in Chamonix) and remember to bring warm, waterproof clothing. Mountain weather changes very quickly.
- Follow the signposting instructions.
