Originally, the door was placed at the base of the bell tower, in the axis of the building. A succession of floods forced it to be walled up and the present entrance to be built on one side of the nave.
Inside, the semi-circular Romanesque apse is hidden by the main altarpiece of 1713, designed as a triumphal arch with twisted columns in which laurel, roses and bunches of grapes are entwined... It forms a partition separating the choir from what has become the sacristy, which is accessible through the two doors on either side of the altar.
