In 1987, the church's choir was frescoed. This fresco is a reproduction of one of Fra Angelico's greatest works, the Transfiguration, painted in 1440 and now in the San Marco convent in Florence (Italy).

The church's interior is illuminated by seven stained-glass windows and a beautiful rose window in the gallery.
It also contains works from the 16th and 17th centuries, including the polychrome wooden statue of Saint Michael and numerous other statues.
The church is surrounded by magnificent wrought-iron crosses, ornaments to the graves that no longer exist.
