If life in Vinzier hasn't been settled since yesterday, that's not the case with its parish, which is much fresher: it was born at the same time as the present church: in 1892.
Until then, the parish belonged to Chevenoz, a few kilometers away. The interior of the church is relatively sober. It is in the neo-Gothic ogival style, and the sanctuary takes the form of a Latin cross: a simple nave with a transept.
