From pastures to peaks, set off to discover our mountains and learn more about this rich and surprising environment.
Whether you want to observe alpine wildlife or learn the names of mountain flowers, discover the geological history of our territory, or admire exceptional panoramas from the surrounding peaks, there is something for all tastes and levels!
Examples of proposed hikes:
- Beginner level: “Aravis with small steps”, “In search of marmots”.
- Intermediate level: “The awakening of nature”, “Hiking to the stars”.
- Confirmed level:
Half day: “In the footsteps of the chamois”;
Day: "Le Sulens", "Plateau des Glières et des Auges", "Lac de Lessy", "Le Petit Croisse Baulet", "Le Parmelan", "Lac de Tardevant".
- Expert level: “La Tournette”, “Le Trou de La Mouche”, “Tour du Lanfonnet”.
Approximate scale of levels:
- Beginner: half day, discovery, 200 m maximum elevation gain, from 4 years old.
- Intermediate: half day, without technical difficulty, 250 to 350 m elevation gain, from 6 years old.
- Confirmed: half day or full day, with some possibly technical passages, between 350 and 800 m elevation gain, from 7 years old.
- Expert: full day, technical passages, scree passages and/or some scrambling, more than 800 m elevation gain, from 12 years old.
