    1/ Start from the Col de l'Encrenaz parking lot
    2/ Take the path behind the Ancrenaz bar
    3/ At the intersection, take the left-hand path towards the hamlet of en l'Aup and Col Ratti
    4/ At the hamlet of en l'Aup, stay on the path that crosses the hamlet, then continue to the Col de la Basse.
    5/ At the Col de la Basse, continue on the path which climbs straight up into the mountain pasture until you reach the Col Ratti.

    Return along the same path

    The sunset from Col Ratti is often worth the detour, especially if you're lucky and Mont Blanc turns pink.

    Accessible outside the snow season and subject to weather conditions. Check with the Tourist Office beforehand for current access conditions. Recommended season: spring - summer - autumn.

    Access by car from Thonon or Cluses via the D902 to Morzine, then the D329 to the village of Essert-Romand, then the D328
    to Col de l'Encrenaz
    From Cluses or Taninges: turn left at the Les Gets bridge (5 kms before Les Gets), then take the Praz de Lys road up to the fork on the right towards Col de l'Encrenaz via Bonnavaz.
