This walk is very popular, as it allows you to visit the hamlet of Poingt Ravier along the ecosylve path. There are many signs explaining the flora and fauna. Once you've reached Poingt Ravier, take a break at the chapel, from where you can enjoy a view of Valloire. The Poingt Ravier via-ferrata ends here, and you're sure to come across sports enthusiasts who have already climbed it.
The return leg of this loop takes you along the Gorges de l'Enfer trail, offering breathtaking views of the Galibier and neighboring peaks.

Start - From the tourist office, take rue des écoles
1/ Cross the bridge and pass the campsite
2/ Walk past the tennis courts and cemetery towards the hamlet of Villard.
3/ 200 m after the cemetery, take the footpath on your left.
4/ Once you've reached the center of Poingt Ravier, where there's a fountain, you can continue towards the chapel, from where you can enjoy a 360° view of Valloire.
5/ Turn back to the chapel and return to the fountain.
6/ Turn your back on the carriage road and continue straight ahead along the Gorges de l'enfer path down to Valloire.
7/ In front of the Chapelle Saint Bernard, cross the bridge and enter the center of Valloire.
8/ Go down Avenue de la Vallée d'Or and turn right onto Rue de la Sétaz to return to the tourist office.

Precautions :

- This hike is best done in summer when there is no more snow.

- Please check weather conditions before setting off.

- It's best to leave in the morning, so as not to be caught unawares at night, and let someone know if you're going on your own.

- The routes you take are your own responsibility.

- Choose an itinerary suited to your physical and technical ability. If in doubt, don't hesitate to contact mountain professionals.

- Make sure you're properly equipped to hike safely and cope with the vagaries of the weather. There are a few things you can do to make your experience safer and more enjoyable. Walking poles improve balance, and regular hydration is essential.

Carry a water bottle and snacks to keep your energy up. Protect yourself from the sun with sunscreen and sunglasses. Don't forget binoculars to add a touch of observation to your adventure.
