Thanks to the regulation carried out by the Tignes dam upstream, the flow of the river is always assured. On the Isère, we offer courses accessible from 8 years old, ideal for families wishing to discover rafting! From discovery itineraries to sporty ones, Isère offers a choice for everyone!
We navigate this river facing rapids classified from class I to IV, according to the international river classification scale, which goes up to level VI.
The meeting point is located at the H2o Sports/Evolution2 center, 1h30 from La Clusaz, Annecy and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, 1h15 from Thônes and 40 minutes from Albertville.

The descents offered at the Landry Center:
- “Family discovery”: beginner level, from 8 years old. Duration of the activity: 1h15 (total duration of the service: 2h45).
- “Descent of the Isère”: Intermediate level, from 12 years old. Duration of the activity: 1h30 (total duration of the service: 2h45).
- “Great descent of Isère”: Intermediate level, from 12 years old. Duration of the activity: 2h15 (total duration of the service: 3h30).

>> Center of Salins-les-Thermes: Doron de Bozel
The Doron de Bozel is a wilder river where rafting is practiced on a torrent fed directly by the glacier. The passages there are more intense than on the Isère. We highly recommend trying the classic Doron de Bozel descent, which takes a more educational approach.
On this river, we face rapids classified from class I to V.
The meeting point is located at the H2o Sports/Evolution2 chalet, 1 hour 10 minutes from La Clusaz, Annecy and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, 1 hour from Thônes and 20 minutes from Alberville.

The descents offered at the Salins-les-Thermes Center:
- “Descent of Doron”: confirmed level, from 15 years old. Duration of the activity: 45 min (total duration of the service: 2 hours).
- “2 sporting descents of the Doron”: expert level, from 15 years old. Duration of the activity: 2 hours (total duration of the service: 3 hours).
