Divided into teams, identify the materials and natural resources and their use in construction thanks to an investigation trail in the heart of the Abbey of Abondance (what will be the ideal rock to make a fountain for the cloister). Then, access the monastery's frameworks to observe the evolution of this unique assembly.

    Start near : Abondance (74360)

    By car: From the banks of Lake Geneva, take the D22 towards the Abondance valley.
    On foot: from the centre of the village, head towards the Place de l'Abbatiale along the "Montée du Cloître", which runs alongside the town hall and presbytery, then under the porch. The entrance to the site, on the square, is a little further up on the right.
    Accessible by car from the church square.
    Car parks located at the entrance or in the centre of the village.
    Bus line Colombus (Vallée d'Abondance) and line 12 Thonon-les-Bains - Châtel.
